3 Fashionable Things I Can’t Wait To Do After Lockdown
Lockdown is still in full swing here in the UK and it’s so important to stick to the rules and keep to a social distance to protect the people that you care about. With that said though, I can’t help but dream about the things I can’t wait to do once life has returned (fully) back to normal. And although there are the obvious things like hugging parents, spending time with friends and visiting family, today I’m concentrating on the more materialistic fashionable things that I really can’t wait to have back in my life. So just for fun (and to keep on topic with my blog!), here are the 3 Fashionable Things I Can’t Wait To Do After Lockdown!
1 Visit a Fashion Exhibition
One of the main problems with social media is the fact that it constantly reminds you of what you were up to a year (or several!) ago and mine is always full of fun fashion memories. Fashion Exhibitions are something that I really enjoy visiting and I’ve travelled the length of the country (and abroad!) in order to do so. In fact, I’ve written many blog posts about the one’s I’ve visited too, on my previous blog and on this one! So, one of the first things I plan to do is visit a fashion exhibition! I was supposed to be visiting the V & A last weekend with my lovely friend Khaye, to see Bags: Inside Out, but sadly it’s been postponed until later in the year. It’s important to stay at home and safe safe, but at my first opportunity I’ll be planning a visit, once it’s safe to do so! For now, here are a couple of memories from some of my favourite exhibitions:
2 Have Breakfast at Thomas’s, Burberry
Now you all know how much I love a Burberry breakfast at Thomas’s, so much so that I dedicated a whole post to it! Whilst most might be running off to Harrods for Breakfast at Tiffany’s (which I’d also love to do), I’m most excited about having my favourite breakfast at the Burberry café. The coffee is silky smooth, the avocado and poached eggs on sourdough are out of this world, and I can’t get over how good the crumpets are from the aga! In fact, I’m missing it so much that I made a mock Burberry brunch yesterday for my Mister and I! If you can’t take the girl to Burberry, bring the Burberry to the girl! I love to fill up on good food then treat myself to something from the beautiful flagship store. 131 Regent Street is definitely the place to be!
3 Go designer shopping at one of my favourite stores (and have coffee and cake too!)
I’ve not wanted to shop during lockdown; in my head it’s really not been a priority! However, I am missing browsing the shops and I’m longing to start my holiday shopping (if we’ll actually be allowed to go on holiday in August that is!). Whether it’s stroking clothes that I’m adding to my wish-list, or lusting after a new designer handbag, I can’t wait to hit the shops with my Mister or my friends for some shiny new things!
What’s on your post lockdown list?
Until next time,
